Default Fuel can question

Not specific to the bike, but for my shop.
Picked this up, and while it's diesel yellow, I plan to put clear premium in it. (it's bone dry now)

It's gravity fed, and wouldn't pour unless I move it onto the bike lift. So I was wondering if I should add a pump, or maybe an air fitting near the top to connect to low pressure compressor.

I am open to suggestions.

air compressor????????????????????????????????
really!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
quick tell your other half to check with enos to get the best price on life insurance.
quick true story:
offshore they had this dude that needed to transfer a 55 gallon drum of engine oil to an over head holding tank that supplied automatic engine make up oil.
well he thought of the air as you and went that route being as careful as can be but the oil is viscous and has to over come gravity so at first it went ok but then the drum started to swell, oh well almost there so a little more air.
BLAMY
blew the lid right off, fortunately since no oil went into the gulf, hummmmmm, gulf of trump, anywho, he did not get hurt but had to change clothes and explain to the boss why that drum looked that way>
transfer pumps are cheap manual or other wise.
side note:
Since the lid is a circle, we use the formula for the area of a circle:
A=πr2
  1. Find the radius (r): If the diameter is 22.5 inches, the radius is half of that.
    • 22.5/2=11.25 inches.
  2. Apply the formula:
    • A=π×(11.25)2
    • A=π×126.5625
    • A≈397.61 square inches.

times this by the amount of pressure you apply
      get the drift

Compressed air into a plastic container containing gasoline, you`re just yankin our chains, right?

Get a proper gas can, and a funnel.

I can see the compressor would be way too high, so won't try that even with a regulator.
Thanks.
So use it to fill a smaller tank I can lift, or a small transfer pump to pull it out instead of push. Got it!

Proper Container and a transfer pump that can be bonded to the container and grounded to earth ground. Never ever pressurize a volatile liquid in a container that is not constructed and certified for pressure application.

Get you one of these and a proper container:

Are we somehow expecting no gasoline in the future? Oh no!

And I sold that electric truck after believing the wife telling me I was out of my mind when I bought it.

Just set your tank higher than the bike and use good old gravity.

Even Washington hasn't screwed that up so far.

One of these would be cool to in your shop too.

I could always drag it up on the bike lift and pour from there.

I had an electric fuel pump that was on my Toyhualer that pumped fuel from a fuel tank on the Hauler, to ATV's & bikes. It was a small inline 12V DC pump.
No reason you could not make up an inline pump set-up for your situation.
