Default Stupid simple mirror nut question

Can't believe I'm asking a question about mirror nuts but does anyone know the part no. for the longer OEM acorn nuts? I just got a replacement set of short-stem mirrors for my 23 Heritage and the acorn nuts they came with are too short. The fiche says 7331 but not sure if that's the short or long one.

I know I could add a stack of washers or a 5/16" nut but I want to keep it stock and here in the UK we don't have many hardware stores I can just walk into and find similar from.

Thanks!

Maybe a chrome spacer
Maybe a pic of the mirrors or a link to them could help someone here to help you.

Thanks yeah they’re just the standard HD short stem mirrors, sold in a pair.

I must have missed the mirrors when cleaning the bike this Winter as mine got pitted and the nuts rusted, so I replaced them.

The mirrors are identical but the acorn nut is about 1/2” shorter with the new pair than the one that came with the bike so I’m looking for the p/n for the longer nut.

Thanks. I’ve ordered the 7331, only one way to find out if they’re the right length…

Failing that I’ll just grind the excess threads off and use the shorter nuts that came with the new mirrors.

Different year bike. So this is just for info in case it helps your situation if the one you ordered does not work out.
But I just did a mod that took the blinkers off the bars control mounts. The left side had an adaptor for the blinker / mirror mount and no acorn nut for that side as the blinker went on the fitting.
I bought a 5/16" x 24T acorn nut at our hardware store. Very, very close to the OEM acorn in appearance of the right-side mirror stem. I had to trim a slight 1/8" to a 1/4" off the left side mirror stalk threads so the nut does not bottom.
Easy fix. Looks factory and was $2.

Nice, thanks. I reckon this is exactly what I’m gonna need to do.

Did the mirrors not come with small chrome spacer rings? They either raise the stem a bit higher or they go on the bottom to take up the space to allow the acorn to fit properly.

Unfortunately not. Just the acorn nut and toothed washer. Genuine part too, ordered direct from HD!

Time to get the grinder out I reckon. 1/2" off the stem thread and it's sorted.

I would love to find some of those little chrome spcer rings that go on the mirror stalk as I lost one on one bike and had to steal from my "project" bike to replce it. Trei ebay and the dealer...No Luck
