George Roeder Sr. was his dad. He used to own Roeder Harley Davidson before he closed it down. My understanding is he didn't want to invest to the level HD wanted him to. So he shut it down. Then Roeder Racing became the new place to work on them. George Sr. also was a flat track racer, and was an HD supported racer. George the II is also a flat track racer. There was an older brother but I believe he passed away.

Seems low to me as well; look like Stage 1 numbers to me; having said that, I think 1.2 hp/cubic inch is optimistic for a Stage II build. Add some compression, more cam and headwork for that.

I would expect 100HP/110TQ from a Stage II 103, that is Stage 1 plus cam and tune with components that "play well together". I will leave comments about the tuning platform to Ohio and I don't know anything about the Shark exhaust other than I have yet to see a dyno chart where that system was used which may or may not mean anything. The Stage II 103 builds that I have seen making the numbers previously posted came from Stage II builds, using 2-1-2 head pipes and 4" slipons and were tuned with the Powervision. The decel pop points to a poor tune, regardless of numbers, a good tune should not be producing decel popping. Of course, the OP has been in the cam chest so there is the possibility of sumping which would also account for the lower numbers. JMHO.

Somebody before this post also said decel was tune related. I don’t know enough about fuel and Ecu to know any better… but instead of compromising with ignition and throttle position tune, why not tune the exhaust? I mean it’s reversion right.. TTI in the end? And also unless it’s like a lot of annoying decel… does it matter? It doesn’t hurt anything.. Why is it important to tune that out? No sarcasm.. I’m asking cause I don’t know from your perspective?

I have yet to have a bike with Shark Road exhaust on the drum that performed well. Looked to me like they used screen door material in the mufflers.

Is it the muffler baffle you’re referring to or the muffler itself?

Also did those bikes have the fuel 2-1 or slip ons?

I don’t know much about shark road, buddy recommended I try their 2-1 but I wouldn’t again due to some quality issues I had with my original order.

I do feel like I lost some low end compared to the duels I had, but not sure if that’s because the tune or exhaust. With the cams I put in I would have expected it to be significantly better(222’s)

i think it is exhaust related.
the Direct Link set up is pretty good and thourough once you know how t work it. I talk with chad a bit about the new release f stuff a little while ago.
i dont think anyone is gonna get 1.2 hp per inch without compression and headworlk.......i'd love it if it happened, but............
the Shark Road brand is fairly new and inexpensive,,,,,,more often than not, inexpensive exhaust options dont yiled good results,,,,,,,simple test.....
install a more reputable exhaust system and re dyno,,,,,just full power run, not whole tune, just to see how the numbers and curves move.

it is exhaust or tune issue as the 222 have excellent low to mid torque. i ran them with 103 and kept them when i went to 107. if your engine is indeed a 103 you should be ~95/110.
