Default start stop swith

I was wondering if it is possible to wire a 4 wire newer start stop switch into an older 3 wire start stop switch on a 93 softail custom. The old switch only has three wires a grey, white and black. The new switch i have has 4 wires which are black with a red stripe and a white with a black stripe. the kill switch has a grey and a white with a black striped wire. Is it possible to wire this switch in if so how is it done. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
