kickstand

Just got a 98 Heritage and the kickstand does not feel stable. Is this normal? It feels like it may roll foward. I think it is the orginal. It may be ok but my old jap bike felt alot more stable.

Yup- it's ok. probibly just like the rest of us. When I first got my Road King I took it apart to check it. The bike can role about 1/2 foot front to back with the play in the side stand engagement dog.
