Default Bike jack

Thought I'd pass on some info for maintenance (hope it doesn't matter too much where I post this); Sears currently has a sale on for a Motorcycle / ATV jack for $89.00 - even off-sale, the price is $99 something, which isn't bad. This jack supports up to 1500 lbs, and with the genuine HD frame protectors for $15 or so, is great to have for doing your own maintenace. The HD jack sells for about $350 per their catalog, and is raised by a hand crank to a max height a little over 19 inches, where the Sears Craftsman jack is hydraulic, and goes to a little over 16 inches - the Sears sale is only good thru today, 2/25, and can be ordered on-line as well.
Don't get me wrong & think I'm bustin' HD stuff, I like their things as well, and in most circumstances (99.99%) will ONLY use genuine Harley, but as far as a jack goes, this is a good deal (and no, I don't work for Sears!!!).

Nothing like having my own jack. Although mine came from Autozone, and was something like $50.00 on sale... it was well worth it!

The Sears unit rolls around the garage pretty well with the bike up. I have several friends that have thismodel- works great. Seems to go lower for clearance than some others...
