Default mp3 music format

my buddy wants to plug in his mp3 throught the bike stereo. i loaded the player with mp3 formated music but he sayes it dosen't get loud enough at highway speeds. we tried to plug the player in acc plug in and through the radio with a fm transmitter neither worked.

is there another music format that would work better.

i'm thinking his pipes are just too load and the stereo is giving all it got.

thanks
bill

Try giving this program a shot (its free). It will allow you to increase the volume of the MP3. can't hurt to try.

Make sure the volume on the MP3 player is set to max. Then use radio volume to control.

i have an FM transmitter that i picked up at best buy for around $40. you plug it into the headphone jack on the mp3 player, tune it to a station , tune your radio to the same frequency, and you're golden. also, with my mp3 player it sounds best to play it between 75 and 90% of total volume
