Cruise control disengagement
I started having trouble with cruise disengagement today. At first I thought it was the wind blowing my throttle rocker but still had the problem even after I removed it. I ran the code check routine and sure enough throttle roll off is the culprit. Do I just need to readjust my cables and do the lash init to solve the problem?

that is the most likely thing to ck adjust as in manual then take for a ride leave lock not just finger tight can stop and turn 1/4 turn at a time and retest p.s. bring tools to tighten with you hope this helps, oneton

Update - I finally took the time to go through the throttle and idle cable adjustment procedure followed by rinitializing the cruise control per service manual and everything seems OK now. I think my throttle roll off adjustment was too sensitive.
