removeing foam tape

When I used to work as a mechanic at a GM dealership, we used Acrysol (also known as Acry-solv) to remove adhesive, and general crud from body panels. No matter how much we used, it never damaged the finish.

My vote is for GOOF-OFF too. I removed the same panels on my Softail. Worked like a charm.

Good lookin paint job! I use dental floss to cut the reflector off and rubbing alcohol to remove the glue--although this photo doesn't show it.

Some good idea's above,most dealers use lighter fluid,then laquer thinner if needed.Dot 3&4 brake fluid eats paint,Dot 5 is silicone-based and doesnt,good luck,Bob
