I took off the reflectors on my 2002 softail standard which were on the sides of the back fender. any suggestion on how to get the foam tape that held them on, off?
1. Use some fishing line or dental floss to see saw the stuff off
2. Try soaking it in WD-40 and then peeling off with a rag
3. Goo Be Gone
4. Acetone (but keep it away from paint
5. Heat it up with a hair dryer or heat gun
6. Barke fluid...may cut it

How I found Goof-Off, I was removing decals from a sevice van for a paint job and tried everything including laquar thinner. After a late night trip for more thinner, a fellow suggested the Goof-Off. I've used it many times since and I keep it on hand at all times now.
