Battery tender question
Go to a dry cell battery and you really will never have a problem. Most bikes come with them these days but the older bikes may still have a wet cell and the run off is the problem. It goes with setting a battery on cement too I think. Although I believe that has to due with drain cycle. Just my two cents.
