I went out to drop my floorboards to their lowest position (got bored and thought I'd tinker
) and what did I find? The only way to do it was to remove the "display" centerstand. On the left side of the stand, the mounting bracket is right next to the bolt I have to loosen to drop the left floorboard[:'(]. Shoot fire and save matches[&o]! Looks like it ain't gonna get done. (I said I'd tinker, not wrench
) Oh well. I guess sense I ain't gonna tinker, I'll just use my lunchbreak at work today to go for a short put around town. Too nice of a day to be cooped up in this train station![8D]

Speaking of dropping, I was thinking of lowering the bike front and back, HOWEVER, I was draggin' the floorboard yesterday on an onramp... Not trying to at all. So, if I did lower it, I'd be draggin them all the time. Guess I'll keep it at stock height.

That's funny; I had a MAJOR scrape today. I was hitting some S curves pretty hard, and when I came into the second corner it scraped so bad, it got a little squirrelly. It was a scary few seconds. I'll be keeping that in mind the next time I hit the same set of curves...
