throttle grip slips out

throttle grip slips out

I have a 2008 Road King Classic with sidecar. The grips are the heated type and the right grip continues to slip out while riding. I suspect the heat has caused the glue to soften. A dealer recently tried to fix it but it still slips, even with the heat function off.

Has anyone encountered this and found a solution?
