Default Heat Demons

I have installed Heat Demon grip warmers on my Road King with Kuryakin Iso Grips. I have read on this forum that at the high level the grips are almost too hot and they need to be turned down to level 2 or 3. I am not experiencing that at all. Does anyone know if there is a problem with the Iso grips or is there a problem with the heaters?

It's the Iso grips. There is more air between the bar and the Iso Grip so not as much heat gets to yor hands. The advantage is also the dis-advantage in that you can run any type of grip, but different grips tend to heat up differently.

I had the heat demons on my Dyna and mine never got that hot either. Mine wasn't the grips it was definitely the heat demons.

My stock grips got HOT. Almost too warm on the first setting with my Heat Demons.

I swapped out for a set of Roland Sands grips a few years back, and with that tiny air gap, they give me alot more adjustment options. The aluminum base takes longer to heat up, but my hands are plenty toasty.
