My 883 was rear ended last fall; it has been fixed (bet that kids insurance is sky high now!)......it was a low speed hit, the back fender was almost folded over in half, and the rear tire had to be replaced.....
so, it was repaired by dealear, and they did a good job, but now the bike doesn't sound the same....it almost sounds like something in the lower part of the enginge/gearbox is loose; sort of a low pitched metallic rubbing sound at times. Also, the bike has more vibes than it used to. Shifting seems a bit clunky, especially at low rpm, but that might be normal.
I'll probably take it in and have it checked out, but if anyone can offer a suggeestion for what to have looked at, that would be helpful.
