Anyone know of a software program where I can map out a ride across the USA. I do NOT mean HD or Garmin stuff.
But a general picture of the USA that is very basic and simple to see where I can put in STOPS and the ROUTE for others on the trip can see. I need to be able to change the route ands tops and re-send it to the guys goingon the trip.
I do not need a load of details just a very simple easy to read and using maping software.

Internet or software based?
Streets and Trips is fine and pretty readily available, if your bringing the laptop you can get it with GPS in case you need it for some reason on the road.
I like Streets and Trips. Have used it for several years.
That said, Google maps is fairly nifty for route planning..is web based..can be changed pretty much on a whim by click and drag...and you can share them or keep the maps private.
