Hey guys hows it going? I'v got a slight problem with helmets. I've looked around quite a bit because obviously I need one and I can't seem to find one that fits me properly, a Medeium fits too sloppy and moves around way too much while on my head and a Small dosen't fit properly at all, its way to snug and I'm allmoast positive if I wore it for more than a few minuts I'd start to get a headach. I'm not shure what to do. I can't find a helmet that fits me right. Are there any helmet makers that make 1/2 sizes? otherwise I'm kinda screwed wearing a helmet thats way too big.
You need to go to a large cycle store and try on from many manufacturers.
I found the ones that fit, then researched to get the best of the bunch.
You can get half size padding for the cheek pads for Shoei helmets, and I think cheeck/forehead for Arai's.
They will fit pretty darn tight when new, but after about 4 or 5 hours of use, they loosen up some.
I have a round head and found the Shoei fit me best. Arai was too tight on the forhead and loose in the cheeks.
Thanks, I'll try that out. The helmet I have now is medieum and I just tried putting a hat on hy head and it fits perfect so I'm just gonna get a touque or something for now to wear with the helmet, I'm growing my hair out anyways it should fit perfect in about a month or two lol.
