Just signed up for the MSF course...I registered for July 3rd & 4th. What better way is there to celebrate Independance Day!

I think that you did the right thing in going with the MSF. It might answer a lot of questions that you haven't asked yet or even thought of asking. Good Luck on your classes.

Congrats!! Just remember that you are there to have fun and learn (i.e. don't put too high of expectations on yourself, at first).

Thanks Springer, and thanks again to everyone for the great advice. Now I can't wait, and the bug is eating at me!

I don't know if this will help any, but I waited close to 30 yrs. to get my first Harley, you're lucky to be able to do it so soon in life. I wished that I could have done it sooner, but I had other paths in life to go down before everything started coming together. Enjoy the ride.

Congrats. Don't plan on doing too much partying that weekend. I took my first MSF over a Fri. night, all day Sat. and all day Sun. I had some other issues going on and only got about 7 hours total sleep between Fri. and Sun. I was totally fried by Sun. test time on Sun. Thought I was a really old 57 year old wimp.
When I retook the class (this time on a series of week nights) the instructor got to talking about people taking the weekend class. Said all these young guys were talking on Sat. morning about party plans for Sat. night. Almost always, he said, when he checked with them on Sun. re: how their parties went, they would reply that after they got home, showered and ate, they fell asleep and didn't wake up til anywhere from 3:00 to 6:00 the next morning.
Anyway, my advice is to just plan on giving that weekend for the class and not try to do to many other things. Good luck. Very valuable info and a lot of fun. Both classes I took had people ranging from zero experience to one in each class that had more than 50,000 miles on bikes. Good people...all very supportive, especially the instructors. Art

I totally agree with Art, plan on giving the weekend to the course. Plus if your in top condition mentally you'll get the most out of the course.
