I have my shiny new set of stainless engine bolts from Pro-Bolt (Very good company by the way), my trusty torque wrench, and a recently tidied garage to work in. What I don't have is the torque settings. Can anybody out there help me please?
I've been sat here for six hours now waiting.
does anybody know how to ajust torque wrench settings from std Harley crappy fasteners to nice shiny stainless? Will i strip the threads if I use the service manual settings ? I know all about rolled threads and stuff, I'm just worried about what will happen when the engine heats up, cools down and stuff. Will I end up with oil leaks ? somebody must know?
