Thumbs down Demon's Cycle Complaint (FYI)

Just thought I would share my expierence with my riding and building friends.

I purchased several items for my 1985 Low Rider resto. New forks, forward controls and handle bars. All at a great price. What I found was that with that low price, so comes poor customer service.

The forks were missing a small cap that covers the wheel axle. Not a big deal you might think. I called Robert at Demon's (customer dis-service) and discussed the issue. We exchanged several emails including a photo of the forks.

I was advised that after I spent more than $1000 on these parts, I was S.O.L. when it comes to replacing the missing cap. I was directed to DNA to purchase the missing part directly myself. Wow, now that is a big fat "thank you for doing business with us."

Like most other folks who have issues with Demon's, I was encouraged to file a claim with FedEx for the missing part. Thump, thump . . that is FedEx being thrown under the buss for Demon's poor custmer service.

The manager is Big Chris. He may be the store manager, but he knows nothing about keeping customers.

My advice, stay away! Pay a few dollars more and go to J&P or someone who will appriciate you.
