Question roadking custom h-bars

OK people, just got myself "THE BIKE" RK Custom. How the heck do I get to the handle bars' bolts to adjust hight?

Remove the headlight trim ring (front of headlight housing)-headlight w/bucket (black thing w/headlight in it)-top trim (skinny trim on top)-fork lock cover & screws (key hole behind handlebars) & riser cover (the piece you want'ed to take off First!) Good Luck

When you get to the bolts, I would suggest removing them and promptly tossing the bars in the nearest scrap pile. When Harley designed those bars the test rider had his arms attached directly to each side of his pelvis - no human with arms attached in the "shoulder position" could comfortably use the factory bars. hahaha

Apes or Drag Bars both work great - it is all good on the RKC, but those factory bars are BAAAAAAD!

folkxrock is right....those bars hurt me in all the wrong places. Research and talking to other riders finally led me to SE fat bars, ohhh the difference and have never looked back. Oh, also changed to the upgraded polyurethane bushings for less vibe.

Forgot to mention, lots of folks like the stock Heritage bars - cheap and the factory cables & brake lines work. Changing cables and brake lines can get expensive. But hey - what doesn't get expensive on a Harley.
