Thanks to reading HDF, I knew I might need to manually disarm my security system some day. So before I picked up my 2003 FHTCUI, I had Racine HD reset my personal code to something I would remember. I never checked to see if it really worked, but tonight there was thread about a guy who lost his fob and didn't know code, so now he has to buy a new module. So I went out and manually disarmed my alarm. The code worked, the 2nd time, first time I didn't read the directions right. So I am posting the directions in a condensed version that you can access if you don't have a manual
1. Kill switch OFF.
2. Ignition switch ACCESSORY
3. Hold both directionals in. Security indicator lamp will flash rapidly. (The one on the speedometer).
4. Enter numbers of personal code by pressing left directional the number of times in each digit followed by pressing right directional. For example:
If code was 12345 you would press left directional 1 time, then right directional. Then LD 2 then RD1, LD3 RD1, LD4 RD1, LD5 RD1..Sounds complicated but when you do it it is actually easy.
5. Security lamp will stop blinking, you are good to go. I recommend doing this at home on a nice day, not on the road in a thunderstorm, while your buddies are calling you an idiot.
If you don't know your code I think any dealer can program it for you. I also carry extra fob batteries, with me. It is a 2032 battery available all over, actually cheaper at HD dealer than most stores.
I am trying to figure all of this out on a 2010 Road King I just bought used. I think from what I have read what he did is called disarming. It seems that different years use different procedures just not sure. Then there is 'service mode' if you don't want to leave your fob with your bike.Going back to dealer tomorrow to see if I can find the code.I have a 2010 bike with a 2011 police bike manual.Damn!

Dear Ron thanks for this detailing description. I have a question regarding the PIN. My pin has a "zero" "0" in between. Do you know how to press zero? , and secondly when i follow your directions after step3 do i have to see 5 dashes (-----) to enter the pin because in my bike the digit i saw are the kilometers ?
You don't need to have the dealer reset your code if you don't know it , as long as you have the fob you can retrieve the current code...well I didn't say I know how to do it just that you can lol. I'm sure you can find either procedure in your owners manual. In the back of my manual there were a couple of cards you could tear out with the procedures on it and a pkace to write in your code...good idea to throw one in your wallet...nobody wants to be "that guy".
Dear Andy thank you for the quick response. My first question was regarding "d" in your attachement. What if "d"="0". How many presses in the left turn? 0 or ten or what?
And in order to have access to my bike i have to turn the iggnition or the auxilliary to "on" possition. When i turn the iggnition "on" the alarm goes on and the bike does not let me to do anything.
If you can have a zero then you would just keep pressing the indicator switch until it is displayed. I don't know the actual answer as I have not tried it.
If 0 is in your code and you entered it then to get to it will be the same number of presses.
I do not have a key operated ignition lock so I cannot help you with that.
