Was putting a new throttle cable on . . . dropped my chrome and custom handgrip . . . the chrome cover on the end of the rubber grip popped off.
I noticed it had a dab of some kind of glue on it . . . lasted for seven years till I dropped it . . . wanting to use the same glue that was stock to put it back on.
Does anybody know what the stock HD glue used for such purposes is?
No but 3M Emblem Adhesive and Cement works pretty well to stick stuff like that back together. A tube of it can be had at just about any auto parts house. Follow the directions and it will likely never come off....and never be able to take off either. Another option is Gorilla Glue. That stuff with stick about anything to anything else.
