Master Cylinder Cover changed? 2005 2006 Softail
Does anyone know when they changed the Master Cylinder Cover on the Softail? 2005, 2006, mid-2006? I ordered a cover for my 2006 Night Train and it doesn't work. It had raised "nubs" on the bottom side where the screw holes are. My OEM cover is actually indented around the screw holes....so the replacement aftermarket won't sit flush because of those raised nubbies. Can anyone help me out? I've returned the one that said it should work on the 2006 and hope I can exchange it for the 2005 one. Did they change it mid-year 2006? I took a pic of the stock and aftermarket ones but I don't know how to post up pics. I can email to anyone if you can help me out! Thanks.

Is it an aftermarket cover, or the HD chrome replacement? AFAIK, they are all the same,just the warning label is different for the different types of brake fluid needed. If it's aftermarket, I don't really know.
