Lately my situation of commuting to school and work on my Dyna (FXDB) is looking to be more permanent than I thought. I've recently noticed my bike is working pretty well under these circumstances, but I've been told that if I keep it up I'm creating doom for myself. It's got a stage 1 kit and a thunderheader exhaust system currently and those are it's only modifications. I guess my main question is, to continue using it this heavily what performance upgrades / modifications would I need / you recommend to make sure my bike is in top running order? I've been told the suspension could use an improvement but as far as the engine / intake go what is your guy's take on that?
Any advice / help appreciated thanks again!
It's a 96ci engine, with the Thunderheader and a Stage 1 kit, but other than that completely bone stock.
Also any tips for keeping it in smooth condition are appreciated!
It was made to ride. WHen its not shitty out mine takes me everywhere. My pickup might go months without running. I agree that a tuner would be a healthy upgrade for youre motor though.
