I want to know what everyone got for christmas for their harley. Nobody bought me anything for mine except for a new pair of gloves so I bought myself a new set of plug wires. Nothing was wrong with my wires but i wanted a pair of braided wires. They have a blue braid to go with my blue bike. Im not pushing this company but check these wires out. They are the best wires i have seen.braided plug wires
The man makes them himeself and they are very reasonably priced.
Nothing bike related. Two old Doobie Brothers CDs, 3 old Steppenwolf CDs, a Big Brother and The Holding Company CD, and a World Reggae CD. Three books, Stableford's autobiography of his trip to the South Pole, You Damn Kid comic, The Letters of Abelard and Heloise. Two movie sets, Die Hard and Back To The Future.
Not a present for the bike as such, but the cleaning and repair of my Supertrapp is progressing well, Im looking forward to ditching the standard can and making a bit more noise in the spring...
Me godts a muttersickle lift, now I can change tires or clean them easier, (I hope). I also got a bell to put on the bike. Ive been riding that bike close to 4yrs now, no bell, no problem. QUESTION TO ALL: Whats your thoughts on the motocycle bell? Ive always made fun of em. Im just not superstitious.

Not too superstitious myself but I believe that the legend or story of the bell also says that everytime you clean the bell we should remember the fellow riders that have lost their lives while enjoying the freedom of riding.Every now and then when I glance at the bike prior to going out I see it and it also helps to remind me to stay focused and ride safe.Just one of the many "traditions" alot of riders grew up with.It is usually given to a biker from a biker as a way of keeping the other safe and for good luck in warding off the "road gremlins"that sometimes pop up on you when you least expect it.I have the story of the bell, although there are a few different versions of it,at home and if I remember(or happen NOT to drink too much tonight![sm=icon_cheers.gif]I'll bring it in and post it.It's about as long as this post, not too bad[sm=icon_blah.gif].....[sm=icon_rofl.gif] *almost forgot, new set of riding gloves and a vest![8D]
