General Topics/Tech TipsDiscussion on break in periods, rider comfort, seats and pad suggestions. Tech tips as they become available will be posted here.
I installed a set of HD Brand forward controls yesterday and the torx bolts all had either yellow, white or blue locktite already on them. The bolt that held the brake pedal and pegs to adapter plate had some white locktite on it. I installed it without removing the locktite. later I tried to remove it because I thought I had done something incorrectly. I used a ratchet with a torx bit put I couldn't budge it loose. thankfully I had installed everything correctly so I just left it alone for now. In the future I want to maybe install some floor boards but if I can't get that of them I have a problem.
I'm thinking I should have removed the white locktite.
Like i said everything is ok for now but anyone have any suggestions on how I can get this off in the future?

+1 on that. Such a simple tool can and will save your **** on many occasions. Sometimes even after you've half stripped it out.
