Default Help!!!

I have a 2011 HD rocker C. I change the switch housing to chrome and the bike wont fire now. I put the old housing back on it and it still wont fire. Every other switch works ie, the signals and the primer. But when i press start, nothing happens. A tiny little piece of metal fell out and i can't figure out where it came from. I assume this might be the missing link to why the bike wont fire. I cannot for the life of me figure out where the piece of metal came from. It isn't much bigger that the tip of a pencil.
Anyone have advice?
