Multiple issues with 2011 blackline
Ok, kind of a long story but here it is. I recently moved to PA, my bike is with my friend in NY, he was going to ride it to PA for me. The day before he was to ride it to me he said that the bike was stalling out while idling. I joined this forum and was told to take out the V&H fuel pack and see what happens. Lastnight he said he would take the fuel pac out and if it was ok he would ride it to me in PA. He calls me this morning and tells me that he took the fuel pack out, started it up and it was fine, no stalling. So he took it out for a ride and after about 3 miles it started to make a noise and the throttle wasnt responding right, as he went to pull over the oil cap exploded out of the tank and he got burned by hot oil.
Again, sorry for the long story, but what do you guys think would make the oil cap blow off? Thanks again for any info.
