Default Squeaking noise by the starter

I have a 99 Road King (17,000 miles) that has developed a squeaking noise at slow speeds (15-20 MPH) and when I throttle down. I had the bike in the garage and had it running while I tried to locate the source of the squeak. It does not matter if the bike is in gear or not and the noise seems to be coming from behind the starter by the as best as I can tell. I checked the exhaust and nothing was loose and I can not find any obvious culprits for the squeak. The bike runs fine, and I have not had any issues at all until now. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Signed on to hear what it is. But in this case..HA??? NutZee is correct. Noises migrate all over these bikes. Once you have the stethoscope in BOTH ears (unlike a screw driver) you know were noise is coming from. Actually in fact it is a must have item too listen to all the areas on a bike when all is OK so you know what good is so you can really tell when a bearing going South sounds like. Interesting that you say it's at 15-20mph yet you appear to be able to here it in the garage. Little confusion in description. If it was a squeak at 15 and I had just cleaned bike good, I would think too clean drive belt. Squirt 4-5 puffs of baby power (talcum) on rear belt and it will go away. Of course not going to hear that in garage.
