Default Proper season storage

New to the Harley Davidson family and have a bit of an elementary question. How do you properly store your harley in the winter? I had mine in my unheated garage with a motorcycle cover over it but noticed some condensation on the pipes and took it off. I have a battery charge I plug into it to keep the battery going. I've been told to fill it with premium gas and place a gas additive in there, but not sure what brand to use. Any help would be awesome. Thanks guys!

Fill the tank to prevent Rusting on the inside. if possible keep the air moving inside the cover, it should not be a waterproof cover but one that can breath. warm air never hurt anything.

Fuel stabilizer: Stabil or seafoam are both good products. Use as directed.
Changing your oil before storage can help keep the corrosive elements in the used stuff from working on the innards of your motor.

For covers, I like the Bike Bag from Rome products: http://www.bikebags.com/
The small motorcycle bag is made for everything short of an Ultra Classic or Goldwing (SG and RK fit nicely). My son has used his since 2005. The bag is still in great shape and his bike comes out clean and dry every time. Many other bags look like glorified sandwich bags. The Bike Bag is more like a big azz gun case and has flaps for strapping your bike to a trailer or for running battery charger wires through.

Battery tender is a good thing to have. Breathable cover. Fill tank, but it doesnt have to be premium. Like already said, it is to keep rust out. You can add fuel stabilizers if you want. I think its a waste of money. I have never added it mine and I store my bike for 2 months at a time a couple times a year.
