Ignition is loose
Hello Everyone,
My ignition is loose or something and asking how do you take it apart and fix it? What happens is that when you place the key in it and turn normal it doesn't light up everything only when you put pressure when you place it on the on position. What to do? Please help...the unit is solid so maybe something loose inside??? Thank you!

Im going to assume you have a softail. Once you remove the dash and un plug the harness and remove the 4 screws it is only held togather with one snap ring. Really simple.

Picture of my 95 Sportster 1200 Ignition unit
Hello,
Here is a picture of my ignition unit. Is this what you think I have? I can't see any way of getting it off but sometimes simply things are hard to find especially with your eyes closed. LOL! - I do want to mention that I have a 1995 Sportster XL1200 -
