Default Getting Started

Hi all,

I sold my bike years back for horrible reasons. Now I want to put some time/energy into something and want to ride again. I want to build a bike rather than buy one. I'd like to build something along the lines of a harley wide glide.. Probably buy a frame and go from there. I honestly just have no idea what im doing/talking about/where to start. Can you recommend any books/sites that will get me started? Thanks in advance

Chris

Chris, spend time here in HDF looking around. There are plenty of people doing great things, and writing up about what they do. You have asked far to wide ranging a question to give you a simple answer. Visit your local dealers and custom shops, talk to riders, get to know your subject - there are no short cuts!
