Default Security / abs option

Just bought a used 2012 deluxe with abs. I assume it has to have security as I believe they are sold as an option together from dealership. Seller (wholesaler) did not have key fob. Will I have an issue in the future?

I suggest you post this in the Softail forum, where many more people will read it. If you go to the HD website and the 'Owners' tab you can register your bike, learn a bit about it, also download the owners manual, if you don't have one.

My last 2 new bikes (FLHTK) had ABS and both had security. The FOB must be within a couple feet of the bike for it to start. There is no button on the FOB to set or shut off the Security. It is always on.

IMO- Your bike must not have Security system or it would not start.
