Hey everyone- I have a 2013 SG that I bought new back in July of 13. When I got the bike it had cruise on it but didn't have the security/abs option. The dealer told me if I wanted security I had to get abs also , it was a package for $1100. What I am wondering is can I just add the security option now and not add the abs function or do they have to both be added in order for the other to work? I don't want to spend the extra $$ for abs just to get security. Thanks for any advice you can offer! Jason

 

Yes, you can add the security.
It is a HD part numbered option. Search the HD parts catalog.

You CAN'T add ABS though.

The security comes in three different modules. The one above is the main security module, there is a second module that has the siren and pager function. And finally the actual pager that let's u know when the alarm is off.

 

But the one listed above is the only one that is actually needed.
The "optional" siren and pager are not included in the factory system either.

They could be nice to have, but not required for the security system to function.
