bad dag stretched bags/overlay fender ordered... now slash up slip-ons
I pulled the trigger (via Eastern Performance - also 12 inch Yaffe Monkey Bars) - great prices due to thanksgiving deals!)
Bad dad stretched side covers/bags/overlay fender
No lights included; probably going with plasma rods (customdynamics) and license plate leds (custom dynamics as well if the curve matches).
to make the look really clean, will change out the V&H oval twin slash I got to slash ups.
As I know Jackpots (4 inch) are great slip-ons and a really good price 9and not to forget sound), considering these.
Called FM and asked for the length at the top fronm the end of the slip on to the center of the rear bold... 2.75 inch. measuring using the stock saddlebags it looks like it will be very close... I want the pipes to come out a little bit... for obvious reasons.
anyone got the same set up or other suggestions for slash up slip ons? not looking for super loud pipes... I know boom cans are out there too but those will need to have the bags and fender "re-cut".
wil post pics before and after (doing the pre-fit myself prior to sending them to the painter together with the inner fairing).
as FM has a discount deal this week as well - til Friday I believe - I want to pull the trigger (or not) on the slip-ons as well.
Klock Werks slash ups run pretty much perfect with the line of the bags. I have the straight cut shorties. They aren't the prettiest looking baffles. Some have painted them with high temp black paint. They sound nice, the chrome is flawless, and they are very afforable.
I don't care for the lighted extensions so my vote would be for one of the other two options. I have no experience with the CVO bags from Eastern but everything else I ordered from them was great quality and they were great to deal with!

they seem to be avail in 2 lengths / 28 and 30. from pictures on the web it looks like they do not have the bold welded on the bracket. not an issue i think. also looks they are longer than the jackpots... price about 350-370. Dennis kirk specs them as non fit for 2009 and later while others say they will fit

hey Webo - you smoking/drinking something LOL
think you replied to the wrong post... although you made me think of another mod... lights in the slip ons haha
I've had Rush Big Louies, slash-down before, and liked 'em. I'm getting rid of my Vance & Hines High Outputs, and going back to Big Louie, but Slash-Ups, to match the contour of the bags & fender cover. Got 'em ordered last week.
Rinehart slip ons with the slash end caps should stick out just enough to see with that particular setup. Also if you really want to see the tips check out the XXL series slip ons from RC Components. Great sound and they have several different styles to choose from (just don't think they have any with the slash cut)

cannot wait to get them in.
Our Jackpot 4" slash up mufflers were designed to line up directly with the stock bags at the same angle, there is however enough length on the inlet that allows you to move them back about an inch, it really depends on the specific saddlebag you are using.
Here is a picture of the Jackpot 4" mufflers installed with stretched bags
Another popular option for stretched bags is our Jackpot Pro Touring, they have large 4.5" end caps and a very deep tone
