Is this video accurate, I mean is he missing some steps or is it really that easy?

Yes, the video is accurate. You need the fob in proximity in order to retrieve/change the code. Once you know the 5 digit code you can bypass the security system should you lose your fob or it fails. (fob battery dead). It's all explained in your manual.

I was glad Saturday afternoon that it is that easy. I had to do it when my fob wouldn't work. Be sure to change the code to one of your own since the procedure is easy.
