6 SPEED TRANNY

Does anyone have a six speed in, and what is your opinion of it. Is it worth it?

I don't have one on my ride but one of my buddies does and loves it. Seems like I'm always reaching for another gear so it's on my list.

Would love to have one, along with a legend air suspension, and some nice chrome wheels. Ive gotten the bike to the point where its just big money from here on out. If only I could make more,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Im always searching for another gear too. Its on my list too. I think its worth it if you do alot of highway driving. I was thinking of just doing a conversion kit that uses the same trans case. You just change out the gears. Its alot cheaper.

LOL, I guess I realize I'm getting to be a jenyouwhine geezer! My Sloptail has 5 speeds and I sometimes get lost with all those choices. Last bike, '78 FLH, had a 3 speed & reverse tranny. I could stir it through those 3 gears without getting confused quite well, thank you!

Just got pricing, and it's about 2 grand Canadian. I still don't know if it's worth it. For 2 grand I could split the cases, do a 103 stroker, and have money left over for the rubber I would burn off.
