Default Torque Ranges for Heritage

Going to be buying a torque wrench but need to know if there's a standard Torque range for Softail Heritages that i should shop for. I won't be doing any serious work on the bike (not yet anyway) but finding out that everything i replace has a torque specification associated with it. Any chance i can get by with one wrench or will i need a couple? Less than 100ft/lb...10 - 200 ft/lb...??

Appreciate the advice/recommendations.

It really depends on what range of jobs you are going to be doing. Removing the compensator for example involves serious torques and is something I personally leave to more experienced mechanics. For pretty well all other fasteners 100 ft lbs will probably do fine. If you plan on doing your own work you really should have a factory service manual. A brief browse through that will answer your question.

Mostly an inch pounds wrench. But really you will need two. Inch lb and foot lb. get the Harley service manual specific for your model and year. Very simple instruction, and all torque specs are in it.
