Default New back tire question

Will there be a problem if I put a 180 65 r16 on the rear of my fxdf to replace a 180 70 r16?

IMHO no! It will be slightly smaller in overall diameter, but you shouldn't have any problems. Theoretically your stock tyre is 709mm in diameter and the smaller one will be 691mm. The difference is 18mm, but they will both have around 16mm of tread, so the diameter of a new 180/65 will be almost identical to a worn out 180/70. When your speedo is telling you you are travelling at 100mph, you will only be doing 97.5mph!
