Unhappy HELP - Mechanical

Yesterday morning I backed into my husband 13 street glide - it only laid over on the crash bar for about 20 minutes until I could find someone to help me pick it up - it was not hurt, couple scratches - of course accidents happen and more damage to my car then his bike - but local mechanic is telling him to check the air filter for oil and if none there it should be good to go - does the engine really foul up in 20 minutes of being laid over a little?? or they just wanting him to spend money for nothing?

It's very possible that the oscillator which impeded the flow from the triangulortory disrupter has suffered from harmonic disruption due to corrupt data from the skewed gyroscopic transducer causing disengenious readings in the levelator mechanism while trying to compensate for the variation in elevation ... Outside of placing the bike at a level at or near sea level my advice would be to contact some who knows more about it than I do immediately, if not sooner ... Hope this helps!

it can damage your dutinator pump pretty bad....you might need a muffler bearing change out but you'll need to find a shop with a left handed blevit wrench and a dyno

Do as suggested by your local mechanic and should be good to go.

hey guys..... are you sure it couldnt be the bypass blow valve for the reverse gonkulator?

On a serious note.... I dont see how laying on the crash bar would let oil get up as far as the carb/air filter. my gut feel is put it back on the side stand for a hour or so and fire it up.... if it shoots the blues let it warm up and get the oil out of the cylinders.

..........................stand it up, wait a few to let the oil get back where it belongs and start it. I have helped pull Harley's out of the ditch that were on their side wiithout a crash bar, started them up and finished the ride. Just be sure to tell the ol'man as he will find out the next time he is rubbing out his baby.

You need to run out to the nearest hardware store and get a heavy duty set of knee protectors. just kidding!

Be honest and tell your husband what happened. Life is full of **** happens stuff. It's only a bike! - but have those knee protectors ready just in case!
