Saddlebag filler panel question
I see on pretty much all stock and aftermarket filler panels they only attach to the fender and a small gap is left between filler and saddlebag ... I assume this is to be able to easily remove the bags ... Question is , if fabricating your own , if you want to attach to both fender and bag and close the gap COMPLETLY , is there any real reason you can't do this other than its more of a PITA to take off the bags ..... Really seems to me to sturdy everything up more on the mock up .....oppinions please and thank you
