Anyone know where I can view a set of tech specs for a Knuck. Anywhere from 1936-47. Nuthin special, just the standard wheel base, tire size, rake, seat height, weight etc. Been trying on line but no luck yet... Thanks in advance.
wheelbase is 59.5"
tire size 5.00"x16"
Rake I believe I read somewhere is 28 degrees
seat height would depend on rider and passenger weight
weight I can't find in my manual but I'd guess slightly more than a 48 panhead because the top end and cylinders are cast iron and the springer FE is heavier than a hydraglide...offhand I'd say about 650#...never weighed mine but mine was a frankenknuck 51 bottom end 47 top end 58 fe and sa 82 frame
Tech Slap, Thanks for the info. Panz4ever in the Knuckle Head area recomended How to Restore Your Harley Davidson By Bruce Palmer. Looks like a great resource but is $233.00 used... I'll try to find a copy at the Library.
