to everybody who lives in the city. can you tell me the best way to come in to milwaukee from janesville. and the best places not to go.coming up for the birthday bash. and never been that far up.any help would be great . thanks in advance.
sporty 2003, I actually live pretty close to you (Evansville). I think the quickest way would be up 43, if you will ride interstate. I know the Marquette interchange is all f-ed up but other than that I'm not sure what to avoid or what way is faster.
I dont know of places not to go, but a place that you should definately get to.. especially if you enjoy really good beer.. is the Lakeshore Brewery. Prob the best brew tour I have been on, and I have been on a lot. Only cost $5. You get 4 glasses of awsome tasting beer, an awsome tour and youalso get to walk out with a souvenir glass.

We all got nasty potholes, my peeve in Milwaukee/Waukesha county burb's is no signs telling you what street the upcoming intersection is! How many times being in the right lane and needing to go left, or vice-versa! The illegal foreigners around here would just mow down anybody in the way!

Navigating isn't an issue (most your roads run N-S or E-W) & you can only go so far to the east ......now finding a place to park a cage downtown.........dat ain't fun !!

That would be Lakefront Brewery...which is situated on the Milwaukee River to the immediate east of downtown Milwaukee, near the old Pabst brewery. The people who do the tours are pretty good.
