last year about 20 of us got together and went on a pretty nice ride out of Canton OH... it was great meeting people in person and riding.. has there been anymore rides that i just missed? it would be fun to do it again.. does anyone feel like setting something up? i would but wouldn't know where to start..
I'm moving to the Madison area in June. Be nice to meet a few guys to ride with. Coming from SE Pa. Jersey border. I don't know anyone but my cousin and he just got wiped out on 20 in Painesville. Broken back and leg. He's gonna be OK.
Sorry man. Work's been a bitch since last summer. Got dumped into a new department. I only get one weekend off a month now so trying to plan ahead really, really sucks not to mention having the time to scout out a route. I'd love to put another one together sometime but it isn't looking good at the moment.
That last ride was actually two summers ago. Last summer I only put 6k miles on the bike (traded it a few weeks ago) and most of that was commuting from Canton to Brecksville
Only thing I can tell you is once in a great while we scrounge up a few people from work and other friends kinda last minute and meet up somewhere and go where ever the road leads. We did get to meet up with Skully once last year for a ride down to Mohican State Park. That was a nice ride. Iron Pony just a few mile north of Loundonville has some good grub and nice eye candy also. Maybe we can hit that up some day.
I am off work the week of Memorial Day and my Better Half will be in training for a new job so I should have a little time to go ride during the week if you're available.
Shoot me your number and I'll keep in touch to see if you can get a ride squeezed in when we jump at the last minute.
I'll try to post more on here but can't promise anything.
So whaddya got going on this Sat the 12th? Supposed to be 75* and 0% rain as of right now. Was thinking of meeting up at 1pm at the McDonalds on 21 right by Whitey's.
