The short slugs are not like the extension once in common use. Example This crash totaled a Trike and the pick up truck broke the forks off. Destroyed the frame and CNC tree. The 2 inch slugs were prefect condition.
If you purchase quality products, nothing to be concerned about.

^^^ Good Info..thank You.
Now, For my Next Act.. I am going to put a Pair of Bent Fork Tubes, on my 94 Sportster/Velorex, Rig.. Bent so very close to Identical, I did Not do Much "shaping", and should Move my Front axle forward about 3 Inches..(a Guess right now) if turned 180 from the "damaged" position..
To My Eye, look better than the Ez-Steer...Now...Will it work!!!! Maybe I start a Thread if it does...But...For Now...to Rake? or Not to Rake???
Yes...I get Crazy Ideas... sometimes they actually Work!!

Working Fine. Spent a few Hours yesterday giving Rides at a Special Olympics.. plus ride over to town and back..Keeping an eys that it don't bend More (monitor ride height) but..so Far..I like it!!

Can see the Bend of Fork, not as severe as it looks with tube removed...but, enough to change Geometry...plenty!
Darnit...it was kinda Muddy getting to where the Olympics was at.. may need to give er a Bath!!! And yes, I had the fender on, Gonna do some tweaking now..

For my Act...I'm going to experiment with "offset". Plan is a Touring Harley, with a Conventional (probably a Good Ole Duoglide) front end.. should offset the Tubes about 2 or maybe even 3 Inches!! Again...moving axle forward in relation to Neck...ie Reduce Trail numbers!!
Unfortunately, No Touring Rubbermount bike on the Farm, Currently!!
