Hacked, Conversions and Trailering"Harley Sidecar, Conversion Trikes and Motorcycle Pull Behind Trailering Enthusiasts"
A forum for the discussion of your sidecar, Conversion Trike or Pull Behind Motorcycle Trailer.
Im excited that I finally upgraded my trailer, I have been researching these for a while now and finally pulled the trigger. The upright garage storage was one of the big selling points for me but the suspension and everything else is really nice too, Im looking forward to my first trip towing this in a few weeks.
I used to tell everyone that hauling a trailer is hard on the motor and trans but a friend of mine towed a trailer on every ride for over 7 years without ever an issue and yes, people always asked to store **** in it while riding.
I had one on my 1985 Yamaha Venture Royal. Bustec turbo ll color matched. They are the best trailer money can buy IMHO. Areospace engineer designed them , the hitch swivels 360 degrees, if the trailer is spun upside down you can pull it in its lid without capsizing the bike. I paid $1.250 bucks for the one I had loaded, today one like it is over 5k.. Best of luck with it, looks awesome on your machine.
You need to tell the wife and kids to clean there crap out of your garage.......haha JK, mine do the same. trailer looks good, congrats.
rk classic.
That was the main reason i needed the upright storage.. Lol no room in my own garage and this is as clean as it gets. Once the kids get a little older we can get rid of the power wheels, I just got rid of the crane game that had been in there for years. As long as my bike and trailer can fit without anything touching them they can have the rest of the garage. Next fall I am adding my 3rd car garage which will be oversized and all for me, or at least thats what Im telling myself. Im glad to hear im not the only one losing my "space"
Now everybody you know will ask you to haul their crap for them.
Just kidding ya...Looks nice!
I already had that problem with my old trailer, good news is my wife brings to much crap to haul anyone else's stuff...

My dad has been towing a trailer since at least 1998 riding over 20k per year and has never had an issue. I've only done around 7000 miles total with one and so far so good.
I have a 2006 Turbo II and I love it. Been on multiple long trips and unless I load it down or turn too sharp and hit the curb, I forget it's there. The hitch is the best part for me. No surging or banging. However, I do recommend that if parts are needed, DON'T order from the Manufacturer. Their Customer Service SUCKS. I just ordered a hitch and wiring harness for my 2019 Tri-glide. Website said it was in stock. A week later and I hadn't gotten a shipping confirmation. After 2 calls with messages, I'm informed that they are out of stock and no projected date. Currently waiting for my payment to be returned.
