Motovation has filed for bankruptcy protection. They have been getting slower and slower delivering orders for sometime. Just a warning watch out for scam sales offering clearance sales. They have been so far behind on delivery there are none to be sold a nice discounts.

I just got the email on Friday. I was there last June to visit their shop, and I placed an order at that time. Guess I'm out of luck. Hope I can get some if not all my money back. This sucks! They built a really nice sidecar.

Hope it works out for you. It was clear some time back they had issues filling orders. Part of it was workers that could do the work and other things of course. That played into why I went with Hannigan for our new one. Looks like we will be down to Hannigan and DMC soon.
When we were there last June everything seemed to be going pretty well. A couple of people working in the shop, and a couple of people in the office. Several sidecars and a couple of trailers were in various stages of completion. I didn't expect things to turn sour so quickly, so we went ahead and ordered a sidecar. Guess I missed the timing by about 6 months or so. I was really looking forward to that sidecar. Guess I'll have to check out Hannigan and DMC and see if they appeal to me. Rats!!

Wish you the best in your journey. When they are right and fill you wants and needs sidecars are great. We get a lot of joy and use out of both of ours. Depending on where you live, type sidecar you are looking for both Hannigan and DMC are outstanding options.
I see you are in Wisconsin. Keep in mind I have no problem with someone trying the rig a bit in the search for answers.

My wife went DMC when Liberty couldn't get a date. DMC was 5 months late, but Jay did have a major turnover in workers...
We were ~$13,000 USD [as we are Canadian] so that was a bit of a pill to swallow - but we did get the electric trim and brake, which just made sense to us. It is more my wife's rig but on my old motorcycle...
Good luck with your cash, sidecars are quite a bit of fun... I will admit I prefer two wheels, but the rig is a new fun alternate.
A sidecar rig most often fills a purpose . I also still ride two wheels and will for a long time to come. The sidecar experience will be much better the more hands on information you can get. Provided that information is correct.
For us we wanted our granddaughter that has CP to have the chance to ride .. We never dreamed it would bring so much joy to her world. She now has over 12,000 miles of riding in hers. And looking forward to many more.
In June we are taking her to to Cashiers NC. From there she will ride all of the great rides in the area. She was to ride the dragon and ride behind the falls at highland.
Sharing the joy of riding with one more generation. Priceless.
Well, I checked with Liberty, and they no longer do sidecars. Sad. I really liked the look of their unit. Back to Hannigan I guess.
Thanks again!
Hannigan has some different models to choose from Some already have car tire on them . IMO a the way to go. Dealing with them is a cross between some good old boys from KY and an expert in their field. Nice thing is they are an easy and enjoyable ride from this area.
My experience with them was great.
Payton and I went riding today. no school so it seemed like the right thing to do.
