Have an '08 Ultra that has a Champion kit. The left rear brake light doesn't work!!!
Talilights works-- turn indicator works--- but when I apply brakes, the left side brake light does not. Anyone have any ideas??? Also, have a trailer connection, and guess what-- the brake lights don't feed thru the connection!?!?
I would get a test light and start at the socket isolating each wire that works. Then if it isnt in the brake light fixture, trace the wire back looking for a possible broken wire between the light fixture and connection. Also check the connection at the splice made when the kit was installed
Tail light, blinkers all work on a separate circuit. The tail light is a dual element bulb 1157? If so, one element may be burnt out and a simple bulb replacement may work.
Is that right T? I now you have LED's... but mine is this way.
The Loan Officer's did the same. Very interemittently. Discovered the ground tang in the socket had broken loose. Slid in and out. Of course did the discovery part after I had cut it out. Champion did send along another one, thru the good work of our second installer, Haus of Trikes, at the time Ocean City, MD then Delaware. Pull the socket, look for a loose ground blade. Slip the tang, clean it, spread the tang, and slide her home. With a coat of diaeltric grease. (On the 05 Conversion kit, BTW). Worked for US.
