Hacked, Conversions and Trailering"Harley Sidecar, Conversion Trikes and Motorcycle Pull Behind Trailering Enthusiasts"
A forum for the discussion of your sidecar, Conversion Trike or Pull Behind Motorcycle Trailer.
This is one of those plastic pod trailers. It is very light weight, which is good because I plan to tow it with momma's G8.
I found it on Craigslist. It belonged to an older gent who moved to a trike. He used it once to transport his old Harley to and from Florida.
It's a 2008 with every available option, he threw in a nice motorcycle floor jack and he delivered it.
Momma has fibromyalgia and is unable to ride for more than 4 or 5 hours a day. Her spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Anyway this let us go to rallys and destinations farther from home.
Now I just gotta get a hitch for the G8.
P.S. That is NOT my bike in the trailer....
Good for you, great find. My wife has fibromyalgia as well and I completely understand. Some of the insensitive people on this forum should get a life and let the rest live their lives the way they want to.
I'm a Disabled American Veteran I was told not to ride back in the 70's , 80's and 90's I was told I should not be riding with my Disabled parts in my body. There is a will to ride we will be riding.
You can play the Vet card but you're still a dick.
For those of you that won't take the time to look it up:
Fibromyalgia is a common condition characterized by long-term, body-wide pain and tender points in joints, muscles, tendons, and other soft tissues. Fibromyalgia has also been linked to fatigue, morning stiffness, sleep problems, headaches, numbness in hands and feet, depression, and anxiety.
In other words, it doesn't matter if they ride a bike with 2 or 3 or 4 or 10000 wheels, she is going to be hurting when they arrive. I applaud you for getting the trailor and thinking of Mommas needs. We all know that if she ain't happy, you ain't happy.
